We have had snow here in the UK this week (especially today) like never before. Today I watched the snow for hours as it fell in the most serene and amazing ways. Snow on snow on snow. Big snowflakes, small snowflakes. Being blown up, down, left, right and every other direction. Settling, melting, disappearing..
I thought i'd do a study into how snow is used in the Bible. As God uses so much of his creation and nature in His word to show us what He's like, what He can do, what His world is like.. snow falls on many of the books! Here are some random ones I find really encouraging, and i'm also amazed at how even Jesus' head, hair and clothes are described as 'white as snow' after His resurrection. So here we go, and a little photo I took in my back garden.

Psalm 51:7
7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
